Fred Kramer

Fred Kramer is Executive Vice President and General Manager of Critical Mass Studios and Rightsline Software as well as a founding partner in Reason Ventures, LLC.  Fred was the President and General Manager of Withoutabox.com when IMDb.com, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, acquired the company in 2008. Withoutabox represents the largest community of independent filmmakers in the world.  The company was built by “virtually” recreating the process of discovery for undistributed film by universalizing film festival application, promotion and management through its patented online system. 

Fred also acted as Executive Director of Jewish World Watch, a Los Angeles based anti-genocide non-profit, focused on the conflicts in Sudan and Congo following extensive travel in the region. Fred currently serves on the board of directors for the IKAR Jewish community, and the advisory board of the environmental non-profit, ClimateCents. He served as the Chairman and Treasurer of Nick Karno’s campaign for State Assembly in California.
